Our Story

Owned and operated by mother-daughter team, Georgia Alexander and Diane Francis, Soca Vegan Kitchen serves to fill a gap in the Augusta area market. Originally from San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago where she grew up surrounded and nourished by the food typified on the Soca Vegan Kitchen menu, Georgia is a retiring Captain of the US Army and a Trinidadian-American mother of three uniquely smart girls. Her mother, Diane, is the culinary well-spring of the business, providing recipes and cooking techniques native to Trinidad. It is their mission to provide a place that will satisfy every customer’s desire to relax and enjoy a delicious meal they won’t feel guilty about afterwards!
